The Songbird

...the birds having nothing on you

each tasty morsel drips
blooming in the flower
pleasingly presented
then honored

divine
soft lips to mine
feelings
I find

kindness caressed in kiss
late night hours dismissed
arousal arisen
expression in time

touches pulsating
symphonic conduit collide
secluded in an interlude

but never concludes
a seductive stillness attuned

morning whispers
a rising sun smiles
and listens
as the songbird whistles
out loud
