Fake
The saddest girl I ever saw,
Was the one no one else had seen.
We were too busy in our own worlds,
To see someone in need.
The smile that shone upon her face,
Was as fake as a painted clown.
And I must have missed the struggling way,
She forced her face not to frown.
I didnt know the tears she shed,
While crying herself to sleep.
I didn't know the wounds she had,
That cut her heart so deep.
Now its too late to say goodbye,
Too late to say I care.
To late to be there for her,
Too late for life's despair.
Was the one no one else had seen.
We were too busy in our own worlds,
To see someone in need.
The smile that shone upon her face,
Was as fake as a painted clown.
And I must have missed the struggling way,
She forced her face not to frown.
I didnt know the tears she shed,
While crying herself to sleep.
I didn't know the wounds she had,
That cut her heart so deep.
Now its too late to say goodbye,
Too late to say I care.
To late to be there for her,
Too late for life's despair.
