Oh this one has an ache and an ominous presence. It’s such a sad and difficult subject yet written so well. My friend, I know this horror has happened to so many. I only hope it isn’t written from personal experience. X

Unfortunately this, much like every single poem I have written are all from personal experiences and real pain.
Which can be both a blessing and a curse. Blessing because I can help others feel less alone, but a curse because pain like this doesn't have a cure.

A character, Harper, I made that has an abusive life then it all changes on her 17th birthday when her abuser, her mother, and little sister died in the car accident. Only her and her brother lived. Then she and her brother get separated in foster care.
Through the novel, someone unexpected comes in the mix.
Harper's ex best friend, Aurelia, really wants that someone. Would kill for that someone.
And Harper, her friends and others have powers.
This is the first novel of the series. The novel is titled Within The Mist. The series is called Harper's Creed.
