Tide
I'll hide in the crimson flame,
Shuddering into invisible droplets,
Crooning a ballad of love and game,
Under the cobalt moonsets,
The waves will ooze an elegy,
That you inscribed with painted aquamarine,
For you murder any thought of destiny,
Bound within nerves and dopamine,
Those moments, we shared in trust,
Scrape the gold, plated on my heart,
As indigo ripples sign a parchment in dust,
Distilled with your beryl part,
And when we run out of monotones,
And when dolphins swam to my side,
And when my thoughts rustle on the shore with stones,
You stood by me as the tide.
Shuddering into invisible droplets,
Crooning a ballad of love and game,
Under the cobalt moonsets,
The waves will ooze an elegy,
That you inscribed with painted aquamarine,
For you murder any thought of destiny,
Bound within nerves and dopamine,
Those moments, we shared in trust,
Scrape the gold, plated on my heart,
As indigo ripples sign a parchment in dust,
Distilled with your beryl part,
And when we run out of monotones,
And when dolphins swam to my side,
And when my thoughts rustle on the shore with stones,
You stood by me as the tide.
