Edinburgh Sunrise
The dawn chorus ( heard from a hostel)
Laying silent and sleepless (so as not to disturb the sleeping occupant(s)
Looking out the bared windows as the first light creeps in(quiet
fetal mouse)
Someone's phone alarm sounds (signalling a new day)
Little whispers( conversations, where shall we go today?)
Me?( skinning up in this empty room)
Bagpiper patrols the Royal Mile ( I'll take the high road)
