BETWIXT FIRST LIGHT AND COMING DUSK

The storm it lashed upon her brow
   let go let go
As lightning lit upon his frown
A curse laid upon her finger
   dark skies dark skies
As the thunder sang upon her

Hush now my Love my love
Is deeper than the great black sea
Angel fallen my Love
Time to lay your head down and sleep
Nightmares waiting weighing
Suffering is so sweet my dear
No sleep my Love my King
Without you I drown in my tears

Grinding poison in the mortar
   hemlock hemlock
Pestle coated in blood and ordure
Soon you'll sleep in the fire
   scarlet scarlet
Condemned to wait in the choir

Hush now my Love my love
Is deeper than the great black sea
Angel fallen my Love
Time to lay your head down and sleep
Nightmares waiting weighing
Suffering is so sweet my dear
No sleep my Love my King
Without you I drown in my tears

The shades are down
And candles are alight
The silhouettes
We dance into the night
When tomorrow
Comes betwixt first light
And coming dusk
We'll sleep and dream

Of poisoned wine

Hush now my Love my love
Is deeper than the great black sea
Angel fallen my Love
Time to lay your head down and sleep
Nightmares waiting weighing
Suffering is so sweet my dear
No sleep my Love my King
Without you I drown in my tears
