Fluffy's Red Ribbon

Normal evenings he stands behind me in the corner.
From the corner of my eye,
Because I only dare to look half ways.
I see his big fuzzy shadow.

He whispers in my ear...
"These nights I long for...
In lust for blood that is no longer my own."

The fluffy animal rubs it's back against my window during rainy nights.
Purring to get inside where it is warm despite his cold breath.

I let it in...
I suddenly lifted my blade and a red ribbon abruptly flowed across my room.
The fuzzy monster told me that kittens always land on their feet.
Another lie that the monster has told me.
Because this one just lied there...
Didn't even move.
