Not Too Long Ago

We sat under the great tree of life, stars glistened overhead and casted eternal light that trickled down into our hearts. We swarmed in the radiant light that illuminated the dark of night. We became bioluminescent and learned how to create our own light source while navigating the darkness. It was the only way.

We ran through the forest our hearts all aglow, our soul’s all-knowing as we went to and fro… We passed the endless river that ever flows, and we knew which way it goes. We swam under moonlight, to follow the call, chasing fireflies in our sleep, knowing that our love runs deep, deeper than the deepest ocean, and more potent than the most magical potion. We trembled with delight, when all was revealed to our sight, the truth conveyed, the illusion slayed, and so our hearts sang a little louder than before knowing there is more. More love to behold as the mystery continued to unfold. It felt like a dream I knew to be real, knowing I am the dreamer and the dream interwoven though the web that connects all things to each other. Behold the splendor of love is here! The Beginning was near, but now it is here, to behold. I know I must be bold… My path is not one most often chosen, a lone wanderer lost in the wonder of all that is here and now, my own little story to tell. The only question that remains is where do I begin?

I opened my eyes, the sunlight found its way into my room, darkness had dissipated, and a new day was born. In my waking I found that I too had been    changed, a spark, a glimmer of light had been lit deep in my heart. I remembered… in a subtle lapse of time I saw life flash before my eyes. I closed my eyes remembering where I was before. It’s like I breathed and woke up in this life. My heart beat steady now and the light of love grew brighter and brighter inside my heart. Twas written in the stars, I was destined to remember, to awake within the dream realizing I am the dreamer…

Memories came flooding back, lifetimes before not so long ago another world I knew and called home. I realized they were all existing simultaneously. My consciousness permeated through and through past, present, and future into one thread, overlaid. I saw a bridge between worlds, one within the other, interconnected by overlap. There I sat and saw the unseen, that which permeates all matter.

Consciousness breathes life into a form and here I am. The dreamer and the dream interwoven through each other. We are truly inseparable. It is the deepest secret I wish to share with you, it is the deepest secret I hold true. Look inside all the love you seek is already within you. I know it must be a dream come true. For this is a world where miracles ring true, the kingdom of heaven was never outside of you. I looked within and found countless worlds of love within my heart. I followed all paths, and each one leads back to you. For you are my pure, my true. If you are the river then I am your clearest reflection, carried by the air, transmuted by the sacred fire, grounded to this terrestrial plane, whilst anchored to the highest heavens, celestial quintessence in ecstatic motion, born of the primordial ocean.

The wind that blows echoes of you, the bird’s song sings your sacred melody. Nature dances to the beat of your heart, where I find myself again and again, no beginning nor an end. We are spiraling eternity, remembering we are eternity caught in a moment, in a dream, a fleeting glimpse, becoming aware of itself. Here and there, everywhere simultaneously…  This is the miracle of life, to shine the light of ten thousand suns, and hold the keys to all the stars, to contain all the worlds within the space between, in thy sacred heart. I will carry the flame of love for eternity for it is the truest I ever will be, the only reason why I’m here, to scatter seeds of love. I will carry the torch to keep you warm, to light the way, for this world is like a maze, but the only way out is through, back to you…

I closed my eyes, and drifted off through the milky way, past shooting stars, and through other galaxies. I beheld the cosmic dance of the spheres and saw all heavenly bodies attuned to the one, sounding the call, above and below. I heard the call. You sing to me, celestial melody that lingers, through the space between the words. I attune myself to your sacred song and dance to the rhythm of your heartbeat. Starry heart all aglow, sparks of light flashed before my eyes, to behold such beauty is the greatest gift I’ve ever known. I dissolve… ever permeating and glorious light, oh holy and sacred fire, to burn with eternal love, the one desire, sacred convergence, twas written in the stars. Tis true I know it is. Shimmering sparks of gold swarm and I too am all aglow. I was flying through rainbow rays of light, aquamarine and electric violet danced in the ether, rose gold and emerald hues enraptured me. In that moment time stood still, frozen, as if nothing else ever existed. I drifted away, losing myself in ever permeating light streams. Falling into the grasp of eternity, all else is forgotten.

I floated higher and higher and then I saw a giant ship with colorful sails making its way towards me. A voice whispered gently, “The ship of dreams has set sail for the horizon, where the ocean meets the sky.” I heard it so clearly, like an echo in a cave, that was heard miles deep… coming from deep inside of me. I waited for it to come closer and take me to fly on the wings of destiny, for I knew this was only the beginning… of a new chapter. Before I left a question lingered upon the air and the voice said, “Are you willing to forget all you know and fall, for it is not guaranteed you will the find the courage in your heart to rise again to remember all that had been forgotten. Only time will tell what be made of your choice. There is only one certainty in this moment it is that you will fall but I will always be with you, if you remember to look inside your heart, I will be your compass, the one thing I can promise you is this no harm will come to you, hence you wear the armor of love, it is an impenetrable shield that melts and disarms all illusions, all shadows vanish in the light. What says you beloved one?” The words came over me slowly and without a second thought I said, “I will fall, and I vow to remember, I will carry your light in my heart, and keep the flame of love lit this I promise.” Then I stepped onto the ship and began the descent downwards from the horizon… spiraling slowly…
