The Lover
The lover and I
Our dance begins here
Behind my lust filled eyes
Swallowing my only fear
The moon kissed night
Caresses my sun kissed skin
Stirring the liquid inside
My body against the wind
The heat of your body
Presses against my own
Soft, sweet gentle kisses
My soul begins to moan
Your lips, they taste
The sweetest part of me
Drowning me in lust
Forcing me to see
Your hand takes my own
As the night begins to fade
Our shadows dance alone
Into the promise of a new day
The lover that you are
The lover that began
Changes both of us into
The lover that I am.
Our dance begins here
Behind my lust filled eyes
Swallowing my only fear
The moon kissed night
Caresses my sun kissed skin
Stirring the liquid inside
My body against the wind
The heat of your body
Presses against my own
Soft, sweet gentle kisses
My soul begins to moan
Your lips, they taste
The sweetest part of me
Drowning me in lust
Forcing me to see
Your hand takes my own
As the night begins to fade
Our shadows dance alone
Into the promise of a new day
The lover that you are
The lover that began
Changes both of us into
The lover that I am.
