Testimony - Team Building
I like to imagine
that all of humankind
was by the Great Architect
employed to work together
one happy collective
bringing the master plan to fruition
executing every detail
of the divinely drawn blueprint
with love and precision
perhaps we chaired
the development team
that, using the anatomical
template as foundation,
determined our innate traits
eye, hair, skin color
In all their many hues and shade
with no selection
deemed superior to another
perhaps we tuned
our own vocal chords
to a desired, distinct tone
a one-of-a-kind cadence
Note that the aforementioned
has no basis in proven fact
just this dreamer’s hopeful supposition
