Hiding behind syllables
beneath punctuation markings
without concise decibels
we draw closer
without trying to
Our manifestation upon
shared parchment
exhibits every inspiration
we unknowingly showed-off
Our neighbors noticed
though via individual
chats separately, You & me
continue to deny their
observations.
If either of us want more
ever will this
come to light
unless both of us
during a drunken evening
fall from restraint
even then
we may not remember the
following day
due to our advanced age

Love it. I say, go for it with the abandon and carefree spirit of the moment. Doesn’t matter if you don’t remember it in the morning. It was enjoyed whilst it was happening. I feel like life is short and why not? 😊
