Colorful petals
Greeted my eyes today
On my way to work

Flowers were dancing
In the softly blowing wind
On a windy day

Hues of pink, red, white
And purple amid green leaves
Arresting my sight

Red roses in bloom
White Vanda orchids hanging
Bobbing in the air

I took a long glance
At the lovely scenery
Before I walked on

The scene was a balm
That lifted my moodiness
And refreshed my mind
