Let Sleeping Dragons Lie

I do have a sleeping dragon
that is rarely awaken
but sometimes sleeps
with one eye open
when there are those
that never give
and all else is taken
for years my sensitivity
Was seen as a weakness
and i came to believe this
to be right,
in my moments of bleakness
and it wasn't until my thirties
that i realised
it was also my inner strength
that made me a humane
human/alien
