faster faster time streams by
faster faster it seems I
am beginning to lose my grip
falling out of time to slip

into silence, sitting still
spine erect, I know I will
enter into mind beyond
where I thought I once belonged

superficiality
evaporates so I can see
what is coming, what has gone
much more clearly, moving on

radiating in a sphere
a special kind of atmosphere
in which to travel through deep space
fifteen light years to then face

Plant D, an Earth-like heaven
meadows, mountains, oceans blue
interstellar travel too

an ancient species without guile
watching Earth for quite a while
falling out of time to slip
