Modernity

From a Hunter’s Moon
To a Harvest Moon,

Plumes
Of
Surplus

Dilate

In currents of liquid
Dreams

Of plenty for the many,
Memorialized

In structures
That struck the skies.

We had the time
To expand the mind

But instead
We reverse engineered

Prisons of fear
& greed,

Leaving the many in need.
