Withered Place

Bloodstains and tears
beyond my fears
not forgot

sipping my Jack
of Babylon
from a jar

Cain's curse on
my brow
is set

mother tongue
in this place
soon to be dead
this withered place

as an outsider
aged by sins
in the flesh
of Babylon
