Alternate Reality—At First Sight
I savor the delicacy
Of September days
Remembered.
First treat at first meet—
Hardly touched sushi
(the hunger stronger in our eyes)
a waterfront walk
a shared rock
Short ride
Other firsts…
“You want some water? Come and get it”
I came and got perfection
Dessert…
A slice of a-frame garnished with
An ocean sunset
Raspberries
And drinks
A flickering wood fire
Raging heart-fire
Never have I felt such love & passion
Reciprocated
Of September days
