Outskirts Of The Mind

They say a diamond lasts forever
Multiple reflections cast to where i'm rendered
My heart will pass away
Yet I give it to you everyday
Many questions are asked about nothing
I tell her i'll do no such thing
Everything is percieved as normal
Everything is perceived as lost
I can't control the cost
I'm consistenly lost and yet I see where I am
The suns rays touch my face only when they can
Only when I allow the world into my heart
Messages in bottles could be a good start
Cross the ocean and the sky
Then cross them back just to die
Hold your breath until it hurts
I'll never let you stop breathing for fear of the worst
Enter my eyes into a land that will astound
Enter my brain to a land that can't be found
Tricky double meaning of the universe
I always wonder if i'm my own curse
Or if it's true that everything is my own shade of "Blue"
