Radio in the house

There’s a radio living in the house
she’s silent like a mouse
when music is not ready to be heard
as silent as a mouse
who wishes to play some sort of musical sound
like that of a bird with different tones
but she has to wait until someone decides they wish to hear some sounds

she sits in the house
silent as a mouse
when nobody wishes to hear a sound
wishing to be heard
wishing to make some different sounds
outside from her internal world
sounds of hopeful happiness
sounds of slow jazz
fun pop tunes
classical calming balance
ringing from her internal world

she’s as quiet as a mouse
who’s waiting to make some louder sounds
waiting for the person who likes music
to say yes
I wish to hear a variety of sounds from you today
I wish to hear you
and you can be something other than a mouse
you can be the musical box that you are
that you are meant ti be
I want to listen to the variety of sounds from your internal world
and I can choose the station of yours that I like

one moment , a sound of upbeat pop
is singing from her voice
the next moment
a classical sound is of choice

when out of use

and oh do tediously bored

shes not being herself
without the help of the person who likes her music
so silent as a mouse
sad and out of use
wishing to make so many musical sounds

its her purpose
to make a variety of sounds
only with the help of that person in the house

Shame she has to rely on someone else to make a sound
