Stained Glass

Upright pylons rusted
prevent  the necessary
touching of the sky
where sorrowful whispers
disguised as glue
creep  through cracked bones
mending the pain of lost joy.

Tattered remnants  of lack
awaken to hold confines
at the bottom of a destructive
 ego pleasing cage , crowded
with littered  words that spill
from a frayed  mouth
 Shredded edges, sewn
together like stained glass
from hells chapel
A modernistic work of art

Heavy tears stringent , coats
the eyes  irritating lids
leaving behind  bloodshot veins  that hang from sockets,
dangle,touching parched
cheeks in need of
moisture

Lick me where I need it most
You never...did.
