silent island mid cacophonous café
reverie smashed by coffee, crème brûlée
cross candlelit table
eyes, hands, lips flirt
arms entwined
feed each other dessert

Okay, okay I know it's a skosh schmaltzy but isn't love a skosh or a barrel of schmaltz? At least to this betimes excessively romantic poet.
