I was just thinking how...
Difficult it can be to firstly, find yourself... Perhaps.
And then... To be that self.
Society trends to the collective,
and the nail that stands out gets hammered and such.
Honestly.
Although fucked up... In many different ways.
Getting "officially" X'd out of society
is one of the best of things...
Although, there are advantages to each,
and ultimately it is up to you and I.
I recently saw this quote:
"To hold the pen is to be at war." - Voltaire
That shit is true man.
Very true.

This poem washed over me like a baptismal rain. Especially with today’s global climate, not the weather climate but the political climate. This write has respectfully pointed out how society conforms and individual thinking and self development can be quashed. I loved your reference to the nail that stands out gets hammered.
Everything seems a battle these days. The war rages on. May peace reign down on us all…some day…soon…
