New Religion

New religion

Your body is my religion at your Sacred place I've come to pray, I kneel before your alter, bringing offerings today

My stanzas are my offerings, I hope you see their blessed, trying to say how you make me feel or at least know I've done my best

Each word crafted by my heart, carefully laid out in a line, prayers to you my Goddess, written out in rhyme

Testaments of devotion, sent out into the great unknown, promises of my feelings, carved out of my heart that once was stone

Now it beats once more, you've brought it back when I believed it dead, you've made me feel whole again, if only in my head

From my kneeling position I look up into your stunning eyes, twinkling like a million stars, in your heaven's skies

You're my Goddess and my saviour, what more can be said, I pray to you nightly, whilst laying crippled in my bed

I'm hoping you hears my prayers, you're my religion, you're my Queen, I'm hoping that you will bless me and honour me with a dream
