First, it’s wonderful to see you this evening! Happy New Year!
Second, the poem lays bare the raw truth, for me, of being willing to give it all up for love and then be disappointed. More times than I’m willing to count. But there’s a lesson in each that I wish I’d retain. Alas.
I adore the quote from St. Augustine and I love how you've put yourself out there in this poem. It’s to the point and outrageously terrific. H🌷
