The Ache

The consequence of the ache
lies in scattered clothing
upon a hardwood floor

against walls, over chairs
sometimes clothed, sometimes bare
sometimes locked in that stare

saddled upon him,
absorbed in the heat,
he pushes inside her,
his grip at her feet

face to face, belly to back
sometimes kneeled
in the glaze
of that sweet snack

Maybe cuffed, sometimes bound
thrusting fast or slowing down

the ache in the consequence
is that we simply crave it
more and more.
