Dawn's Break
with dawn's break the mind begins to wake
birds call thru the air as dreams begin to disappear
but thoughts still continue to linger
chasing the warmth that still wanders
to chew upon a comfort caressed
a kiss collected, borrowed from time
a bite bespoke, twin hearts collide
not letting, forgetting, the senses
true feeling inside
day calls out to the coffers
bring out your wine
flowing from lips that do water
serrating a soul that is fine
devoured, devotion
depths an ocean can't find
fingers outline the softness of light
caught, tied, beckoning to subside
anchors dropped, not afraid of the tide
expressions, echoes
spun out then fed
beyond inhibition
closeness is bred

battle scars remain thru time, such as memories

Dawn just seems to be a time that inspires. Perhaps it’s more of a poet thing than people realise.
