Empty Your Mind
Empty Your Mind
The world
Around us
Constantly
Reminds us
That we are
Full
To the brim
With our sorrow.
Thus
We evade,
With every
New shade,
The chance
Of response
Every
Morrow.
Full
Is our cup,
Yet
On it we sup,
Never
To
Be
Satisfied.
We live
Every day
Avoiding
To say
The truth
For which
We have
Died.
Thus,
Being reborn,
We face
Every morn
With the guilt
And the shame
Of all
Being,
Ironically
Free
To be
Only me;
It's
Ourselves
We are working
On freeing,
And so
From
Our egos
We're shorn.
A witness
Are we
To the truth
We've been born
So naked,
Without
A
Defense,
Human
At last,
Without
Any past,
Eternally
Free
From all
Sense.
The world
Around us
Constantly
Reminds us
That we are
Full
To the brim
With our sorrow.
Thus
We evade,
With every
New shade,
The chance
Of response
Every
