Vividly Animal
My reflection dances
in the window
facing the night.
I am so vividly animal
in movement
and form.
My thighs flex
in recoil from his
rhythmic dance.
My eyes rise
toward the ceiling
at the moment of his coming.
If animals can pray,
I thank creation for
this most precious life.

A vivid write. What can look more on-turningly animal than seeing one's naked form reflected in an unlit window pane? Only a cheap version of having mirrors on the ceiling/walls but just as enjoyable to see.
