Synthetic Solstice
Oh the thousand woes of a frail heart!
When blinded by the hazy veil of infatuated love
Which we all believe to be a perpetual passion
As imposter emotions are on the rise creating a fake bliss.
Coming forth and growing stronger with each and every kiss
But now, on this very day I am left with nothing.
Is it possible to resist the pleasures of carnal flesh? Did we have something?
Or did you use your lies and charm to ensnare my heart
And flood my veins with your poisonous love injected by your kisses?
Did you play me for my love?
Mock my emotions and feign thy love to grant me a plastic void of blissful…
…passion?
My god! Oh how I thought we had such passion
To share. The love I gave, did it mean nothing?
You left to die and rot our delightful bliss.
I should have forsaken thy carnal temptations and saved my aching heart
Of a pain I never thought to bear. To remember how many times I cried, "I love
You" makes me sick as though I've touched toxic lips with my kiss.
Filled with venom you fed me chocolate kisses.
Leading me to believe you loved me passionately
As we pledged our love…
Laying together in a bed of lies I gave you everything
But you tore out my heart
Only to crush an unforgotten bliss.
But I grow strong and I shall walk and live on, enjoying my self-induced bliss.
And for another far more worthy than you, I shall savor my kiss,
To her I shall vow all the inclinations of my zealous heart
And share an interminable passion.
Between us we will devote all we have, everything
To be enthralled in an everlasting love.
To her I shall vow my loving
Hand until the very end and create such a passionate bliss.
Love is much more than a simple thing,
Far more intricate than a single kiss,
Much deeper than words of passion,
More than empty promises of the heart.
Love is a deep intertwinement felt by both and sealed with each kiss
Blissfulness molded from a sincere fiery passion.
It is something you must feel from your inner core, from the very bottom of your heart.
When blinded by the hazy veil of infatuated love
Which we all believe to be a perpetual passion
As imposter emotions are on the rise creating a fake bliss.
Coming forth and growing stronger with each and every kiss
