A Simple Wish
Oh! how much I wish
To spend a night
On the road,
To uncover myself,
To lie straight,
To feel
What is beneath,
what is above,
To feel
What is being felt
By some,
Some who are forced.
Ah! But I can't,
I can't have that single day,
A single day,
when I am disrobed,
I can't live that.
I am born
to live
Inside a house.
I know my wish
Has a Destiny,
Destiny to fail.
The society outside,
even the society
In Me
will not allow me.
I am chained
To remain,
What I am,
it Pain...
It Pains...
To spend a night
On the road,
To uncover myself,
To lie straight,
To feel
What is beneath,
what is above,
To feel
What is being felt
By some,
Some who are forced.
Ah! But I can't,
I can't have that single day,
A single day,
when I am disrobed,
I can't live that.
I am born
to live
Inside a house.
I know my wish
Has a Destiny,
Destiny to fail.
The society outside,
even the society
In Me
will not allow me.
I am chained
To remain,
What I am,
it Pain...
It Pains...
