The Bene Elohim at Christmas
Come, you things of fire,
you shining bene elohim
come now in strength,
come here!
Unfurl your wings
and set yourselves
to rive
the cold expanse of space,
from Heaven's gate
down to Judea's hills
and arrow through the night
with majesty and glory in your tiding wake
to make those tending shepherds
huddling now upon the ridge
that rings dark Bethlehem
quake and dance
and sing with you
at your apocalypse
you shining bene elohim
come now in strength,
come here!
Unfurl your wings
and set yourselves
to rive
the cold expanse of space,
from Heaven's gate
down to Judea's hills
and arrow through the night
with majesty and glory in your tiding wake
to make those tending shepherds
huddling now upon the ridge
that rings dark Bethlehem
quake and dance
and sing with you
at your apocalypse

What a prolific analogy my poet, and comprehendible in its subjective composure

Thank you. But I'm not sure I understand what "subjective composure" is. Care to explain?

Why of course, it would be my pleasure, I read your beautiful interpretation of your personal intake in what this holiday means to you and utilizing the Hebrew name of God in the subtext gave credence to be praised from me for its composed poetic subtlety for readers to understand its metaphoric merit and questionable theories or better yet, in lieu of the ascertainable references from a theological point of view
I do hope I have thoroughly clarified my stance in such a worthy piece of literature my poet

Re. The Bene Elohim at Christmas
Thank you. But you should know that in the Hebrew Bible Elohim usually refers to a single deity, particularly (but not always) the God of Israel, at other times it refers to deities in the plural, and that "bene Elohim" means "sons of God" and is a term that refers to angelic beings.
And do you really think that my submission is an analogy that is mostly metaphorical, let alone something that possesses a subtext, rather than a non metaphorical and heartfelt prayer for what Luke tells us would come to pass in the hills surrounding Bethlehem on the night when Jesus was born?
And Happy Yuletide to you.

Yes, I am definitely aware of Elohim, Yahweh, Yahshua, intermittently, it is an old module for faith based of several theologies and religious beliefs in its spiritual trinity
And Happy Yuletide to you as well my poet

There has always been much speculation on the precise day Jesus was born, in answering your question, and without any means to obtain any sacred scrolls to nullify or give credence to your claims, everything man has written has always been subjective or verbalized in a metaphoric theories.
Then you must take into consideration the Roman Piso family wrote the New Testament of the Bible, which means by man’s hands and not by God’s doctrinarian. Subsequently, I do not argue people’s beliefs, I can only humbly add my own as you see I have in earnest and in truth..

The issue isn't when Jesus was born, let alone the validity of the execrable Piso thesis and why anyone should, let alone must, take it into account when asking the irrelevant question of whether what is said in the infancy narrative in the Gospel of Luke is divinely inspired or is historical, but whether my submission makes a reader see with his or her eyes shut what someone who knows Luke's STORY of what happened on a particular night, and is imagining the lead up to it, might pray for.

The book of Luke is based on his theology as a man who has written about Jesus’ life from birth to his resurrection and his chronicle as a Savior after his death and be advised Luke, was a man of science and was in always in reference to Paul.
Jesus was Hebrew Luke was a Gentile. Therefore, the disparity would seem impassable somewhere along the actuality historical factual accounts of Jesus.
I am not refuting the circumstances, only some occurrences we were all led to believe, and that comes in making comprehesive comparisons in religious studies written by man, versus, not by an apostle or a disciple...
