Kisses on the neck that never really came…
There were days I swore that you forgot my name.
Here comes the sun again…

Holding hands like never, never, before
While I was so easy for you to ignore.
Here comes the sun again, and its cold outside
Where the coming grey clouds hide
The rays from reaching our faces
In a million different places.
I do not know where you are, but I can imagine
The bed that you lie in.

Kisses on the neck that never were
You give them to another…
There’s something blue inside of me
Something you never could see
Its nothing new, it’s been there for years
Every time I tried to hold back the tears.
I just want to go home, I want to go home
With you…I want to go home…
Here comes the sun again, and it’s nothing new
I only wish I could watch it rise with you.

I can smile at strangers, say that I’m okay,
But they can feel it in the words I say—
They can feel you are no longer mine,
They feel you as I felt you for the last time.
I am not crying in their faces, but they can see
The tears that are eating away at me.
Here comes the sun again…
Here comes the sun again…
Here comes the sun again…
