Another World (2021)

ten million times the speed of light
nn an interstellar flight
body lying on my bed
nut-of-body me has fled...

four seconds to Centaurus A
there is no time but anyway
it seems a breath is all it takes
to arrive where something makes

me appear so I can see
another world, a planetary
jewel with rings right below
yet I feel that I must go

to a small red star nearby,
in a blink off I fly
to Proxima where Planet B
comes into view for me to see...

an ocean world just like the Earth
much closer to its star gives birth
io wondering if my body's fine,
it takes four seconds to realign

out-of-body me with the
body on my bed I see...
now I lie as visions wane
wondering when I'll leave again
