Clogged Artery
Once again, I'm here
Along this road, upon this route
my journey of regret
lovers met - there she lived
and brothers left - so long ago.
Decades back and forth
The same furore as before-
501s and heartbreak, with
all these years lost.
Memories of Masonic misdeeds
so many thoughts unclean,
and the callousness of youth.
This final ride I started forever ago
04, when she was still alive
And I was sore even then.
I'm down this road again
The last ride I'll ever take
Before this body and soul
wither within-
My burning clogged artery.
