And you found your self
in a place
of fear & loathing,
a place
of
Brittle blood flakes
&
stains
of substances -
Standing mysterious,
speaking in rows
like mystical gods
of civilizations in shadows -
Saying:
Yeah, everything is
relative alright,
and that is what makes us
what it makes us
&
We have used
disgust & fright
to separate the refuse
from the light -
Ready for enlightenment,
Like
A struck chord
in the symphony
of
the
Self – stealth,
Across the whole
of
humanity,
From human to human,
Perception
to
Perception.

I feel that so much (perhaps most) of our existence is based upon perception. Both good and bad..However in my almost 50 years of experience on the planet, when viewpoints are steeped only or mostly of personal perception, it inevitably leads to the darker(est) corners of our shadowy selves that direct an ultimately skewed viewing.... aka =false perceptions.
Facts, character, debate, analysis, empathy.. etc.... should be brought to the table. I feel our biases often push the ability for all valid discourse / debate to the way side, in attempts to understand ASAP instead of learning, correctly.. To come up with any answer just as long as there's an answer..."Fast and dirty" is no way to view anything... IMO. I'm a proponent of careful consideration, as often as possible. Fact gathering digging for the heart of truths vs "flippant mood of the day" assumption.... Easier said than done, sometimes... I know.
Just my own meandering musings...
I very much appreciate your thought provoking pieces, Cipher.... I tend to drone on but sometimes I reconcile things for myself in my own head space... and that's pretty rad.
