My heartbeats pace
My heartbeats pace
Can you feel my heartbeat, can you see my chest slowly rise and fall, each heartbeat calls out your name, do you hear my loving call
Reaching out across the void, I want you to feel my love, we are perfect for each other, we fit like hand in glove
When I close my eyes at night, you're the last thing on my mind, I hope it sparks off a romantic dream, of the loving kind
I hope to dream you're laying next to me, we meet in our special place, where I get to hold you in my arms and see your pretty face
In my dream you brush your lips, gently on my skin, the touch is so heavenly, so let our loving night begin
We share a lovely evening, in my dream there's only you, you showering me with your love and me showering my love on you
Our bodies entwined together, we have slowly blended into one, then I awake all alone at the rising of the Sun
Looking at the ceiling, I feel a tear run down my face, I let out a simple lonely sigh, as my heartbeat slows its pace
