Don't Wanna Sleep

No I don’t wanna sleep, cause sleep means
Dreams, and the last thing I need is to dream
About you.

It’ll just wake me up with a sense of false hope;
That the day will be ok, I’ll be able to cope.

So please, don’t make me close my eyes.
Cause I don’t wanna go to sleep.
It’ll only make me weep.

Cause you’re not next to me as a wake up and
If I tell someone they’ll say to grow up.
So, please, no sleep.

Because as soon as my head hits the pillow
I’ll disappear into your warm, brown eyes again.
