How do you act
When the storms of life
Threaten your existence;
Sending you to your knees
With soulful repentance?

Wretched cries
Echoing through the night;
Making you question
Does joy really come
With the light?

How do you act
When you’re on top
Of the world;
High above your valley;
Blessings unfurled?

Success abundant
With no end in sight.
Trusting the Lord
With all of your might.

It doesn’t matter
What your circumstance is.
God’s always faithful.
Your life remains his.

He’ll stay by your side.
He won’t let you fall.
So, don’t ever fret
He’s with you
Through it all.
