I lay in the snow,
staring at the sky...
Simply amazed by my thoughts,
I begin to cry.
I took a vow,
til death do us part...
Why is it now,
your no longer in my heart.
8 months have passed,
and you have changed...
Using me as your sugar momma,
its that what you had arranged?
I am a strong woman,
independent and smart...
No man will ever weigh me down,
I told you that from the start.
This isn't my first time,
Walked this path before...
When I told you what i wanted in life,
You agreed to everything and more!
I wanted a man,
that wasn't afraid to show his affection...
A man who was willIng to accept me,
Even when I wasn't happy with my own reflection.
Someone who would jump through hoops,
Be willing to meet me half way...
Someone who knew that it takes two,
To have the finer things in life these days!
I needed someone,
Who would keep me on my toes...
Who was full of life,
And just take life as it goes.
At first, you were this guy,
But everything has since gone astray...
I find myself miserable,
Struggling with the decision to stay!
I work hard to keep us afloat,
But why should I put forth more the half...
If things stay this way,
Its me who will get the last laugh!!!
