So How Does It Feel
Knowing that your burden was put on someone
By deciding their fate without letting them be
Denying her the opportunity to raise her concern
The injustice of her moving on from you
Now considered a crime by you
Deserving an execution in the presence of her daughter
Leaving her to suffer that memory for a lifetime
Those last moments with her mother as she frantically called her elder sister
Forced to return back home on her way to start work in another city
You were supposed to love their mother
Not hate her because she had left you
And was now with another man
Who proved to be a much better man
A loving and kind man
Making all three women happy
He was not just a male like you
But a real man full of love in his heart
Bringing happiness to a home
Once emptied by your gruesome deeds
Roaming around with the toxicity of your dominance
Draining pure energy infusing fear with your terror
Freedom was never a right for her to be granted by any man
Worst of all by you
Yet you saw it fit to take it away
Cowardly so
Ordering her death by sending those men to murder her
Without you being the one to lay a hand
The absence of your presence at the scene
Turned into an admission
Being out of sight at her funeral was your confession
Leaving your daughters without a mother
Remains their greatest gift on earth you took away
Now they have nothing
Because you will always be their father
By deciding their fate without letting them be
Denying her the opportunity to raise her concern
The injustice of her moving on from you
Now considered a crime by you
Deserving an execution in the presence of her daughter
Leaving her to suffer that memory for a lifetime
Those last moments with her mother as she frantically called her elder sister
Forced to return back home on her way to start work in another city
