Darkened Skies

Darkened Skies

From the gross dross,
In melting stars
that
Faded into space,

I made a Heaven
out of
this
Place,

Studied the rules
of
the
Altitudes

That ruled

processions

that followed,

In falling feather
attitudes,

And chemistries
of
mysteries
in

Similitudes,

Made
to
fall;

That is all.

And when the darkness came
with
the knowledge
of
my name,

I closed my eyes

Opened my wings

And

Imagined

Flight
in
firelight -

Into darkened skies.

Author's Note
(R inspired me with her words:

[The angelic worlds are both dark and light. ]

I thought of the movie “The Devil’s Advocate”, one of my favorite movies.

I wondered…  If an angel fell from Heaven to Earth, would this make Earth an angelic realm?  And if the idea of realm is merely perception?

Of course perception can be influenced by external factors.

Now…  What if We make a Heaven of a Hell?

What if Hell is suddenly revealed?  To the perception or is embraced by the perception?

What then?
