Fly, fly!
Sometimes I soar through the clouds
Sometimes the wind is whizzing in my ears
I feel so light up here, my mind is calm
Other times, it's a real storm
The turbulence is so violent I can feel
My teeth rattling in my mouth
I grasp for something to hold onto
And end up with nothing in my hands
I'm blown out of course
If there ever was one
I vaguely hear my mother asking
"Did you get thrown into life too early?"
And with my rattling teeth I try to speak
"N-N-No n-no, I'm fine, I-I got this"
Until I'm suddenly not soaring anymore.
I'm falling instead, through the nothing.
Everything is so fast, and my vision is blurred
My heart is rolling around behind those teeth
And I'm trying not to throw up
I fall
I fall
Hoping someone will be there on the ground to catch me
Or that I can soar again
But I fall.
And I fall.
I begin to long for the crash
To bury those noisy teeth deep in earth.
Just to end this falling.
