The Crows
Based on a true story
It’s a breezy afternoon in New Kingston.
An unfledged crow falls from its nest.
It flaps its scantily feathered wings, But it’s unable to fly.
The black birdling is very scared,
It peeps repeatedly,
And it quickly runs into the flower garden to hide.
Luckily, no cats are prowling nearby.
The mother crow becomes angry.
She jumps from one branch of the tree to another,
And she caws loudly.
Then she flies down to the ground. She can’t put her baby back in the nest.
Mommy crow flies away.
She returns with a piece of biscuit in her beak.
And she feeds the baby crow.
