The peas that please

Late come warmth of springs. unfurling
promises, seedlings magic, reoccurring
for most have eyes that see them not
butterflies, for their escort

Well before midsummers heat
they sing with the pollinating bees
ballerina's as they dance sublime
in the thicket vines that climb

Close your eyes, reap that bouquet
let it transport and convey
rippling tinkles as they play
pastel shade, each cold grey day

Delicate as a snowflakes fall
disguised amongst the colours, free-for-all
fairy folk of fairy tales
catch your imagination in each detail

Just be sure that you preserve
the outlook of a childish world,
not mischievous but kind and good
you may join the sweet pea, fairy sisterhood
