Peace of Mind

If the choice is made
To walk away
Spoken on harsh waves
Of rushed anger

And core truths escape
Through walls' cascade
One can't back away
It's not over.

Return once again
Once the spell is spent
Reason, common sense
Drive inside

Demands the lies left
Are calling for death
Sawing through your head
To your mind

When you believe proof
Remember the truth
Verily conclude
A new start

Sentiment will prove
If the choice was true
To heal or to screw
With your heart.

Author's Note
If you're angry, you're not in the capacity to truly make peace and find closure with someone you've cared for, that has hurt you. Even if what is spoken in anger delves into some of what is actually festering, it's still not enough. Once your sitting down later to truly look in on your life from the outside, you know you've reached near the end of your anger and therefore affection for that person. Next step, talk to them calmly and never return, or do. It's up to you. If you walk away with a grudge or ache in your chest, you've made one of two wrong decisions, fam. Either you still love or you didn't get the closure needed. If you walk away without letting it all out your bound to think back grudgingly and your still fucked, even if there isn't love left.. Gotta do it right, holmes :)
