I just reread this poem tonight and am reminded how much I truly miss the powerful heft, erudition and openness from the very depths of honesty, that your pen brought so fucking well to the page. I often wonder why sublime poets like yourself chose to stop visiting while others forever remain to regurgitate and replay... Alas, my meanie side digresses...
Needless to say, I'm utterly grateful to have participated in knowing well your poetic voice, even with the small amount of work you blessed us with.... It felt like such an opportunity and amazing lesson learned.
I hope wherever you are you somehow can feel the warmth, appreciation and the sweet marveling awe that only your stellar writing can still evoke... perhaps like unexplained tingles...
