Texture and smell
As I paddle through your mirky waters
I reach down to see how prepared I am
I think your canoe needs a flagpole
The one you have graciously lent me
I imagine you providing the wind as well
I love how this sound harbors my voyage
The hills roll along towards the inlet
As water slooshes behind each pass
Changing speeds, rough, then calm
Absorbed in nature's texture and smell
I reach down to see how prepared I am
I think your canoe needs a flagpole
The one you have graciously lent me
I imagine you providing the wind as well
I love how this sound harbors my voyage
The hills roll along towards the inlet
As water slooshes behind each pass
Changing speeds, rough, then calm
Absorbed in nature's texture and smell
