caught in a whirlpool
spinning around
there is no escape
going down to the sound

of sloshing and splashing
thoughts everywhere...
is anyone listening?
does anyone care?

together we're one
apart we collide
Earth is the place
on which we all ride

all the Earth's creatures
all beings unseen
on land and in water
together we dream

of future while present,
the past now long gone,
realizing our oneness
is how we move on

while caught in a whirlpool
