All over my 66 year old body are bruises, marks and scars
the remainder, like ashes from fine famous Cuban Cigars
Souvenirs of life left behind
like faded Polaroids in my mind
But, my anxiety attacks and depression are the real deal

I do not know how this gem escaped my eyes my King... I suppose better late than never.. I like this.. it not only shows how you endured through your trails and tribulations, but a keen sense of survival above all cost... I would like to one day see those Mandingo battle scars you so proudly speak of...wink

Whenever you comment it is right on time. Because it is insightful and enlightening. But, sadly I have not convinced you to be my Muse. For if you were I would write Odes that would rival even Shakespeare. Now meow on that!.

Time waits for no one my King.. however, soft lips speaks as I felt your touch, heard your footsteps in the distance wind.. the faint whispers only distance can hear and true hearts can rejoice in its beautiful entanglement..
