Hope from a 10c coin

I never fully understood how precious those discarded and almost worthless coins that people as well as I myself used to just throw away or forget about somewhere in the back of a drawer or just next to the road as we walked on looking only for the shiny silver coins from our change collected day by day.

I only truly started understanding the meaning of" it's alot if you don't have it"
See I found myself living on the street and for the first time as I wondered about asking for help for food or just some toiletries my head was always looking downwards out of shame.
This is when I started noticing how many unwanted dirty and forgotten old coins were just lying there on the ground. With each step I started picking up the coins as I went about my day and I was truly amazed at the great amount I collected by the days end. There was always enough for a packet of go-slows and a drink-o-pop.
The most heart warming and probably most beautiful gift I could receive was a simple little 10c coin. See at first I didn't even realize that the 10c coin would àlways appear right at my feet in the moments I truly have lost all will to go on and felt like there was no hope left.
I would strangely enough look down to my sore and tired feet and as if placed perfectly by my toes would lie a single 10c coin. Not long after picking up the 10c coin someone would always come past with something to eat a kind word or just sit down next to me in silence.
I can not explain how these prayers being awnsered by my Creator with a single simple old 10c coin has changed my view on the small and often missed beauty in this world and how much my faith has grown by receiving hope and just knowing that my Creator will never forsake me.
He still leaves me a 10c coin in the most unthinkable places to find in times I feel like giving up.
